Fredette, a Glens Falls High School alum, set the Section 2 scoring record with 2,404 career points. In 2008-09 he became BYU’s first point guard to earn first-team all-conference honors since Marty Haws in 1990 by averaging 16.2 points and 4.1 assists and contributing a team-best 50 steals. Fredette was inducted into the Capital District Basketball Hall of Fame in the summer of 2009.
