Rock Band BOSTON Cancels Concert

The rock band BOSTON has canceled its concert date scheduled at the Glens Falls Civic Center for July 13 at 8:00 p.m. on medical advice due to a back injury suffered by founder, songwriter, and guitarist, Tom Scholz. His condition was aggravated during the band’s rehearsal sessions this past week.

The Glens Falls Civic Center was to be the first concert of Boston’s “Over America” tour. The band expects to resume the tour on July 14 at the Civic Center in Augusta, ME.

Refunds may be obtained beginning 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at point of purchase locations. For more information contact the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office at (518) 798-0202.

The Glens Falls Civic Center is an arena hosting sports and entertainment activities year-round. Home to the United Hockey League's Adirondack Frostbite and the Adirondack Wildcats of the United States Basketball League, it hosts a variety of concerts, sports, theater, and family entertainment events.
