The Glens Falls Figure Skating Club is accepting registrations for the 2004-2005 season at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The dates and times are Saturday, September 11, from 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. and Saturday, September 18, from 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Glens Falls Civic Center.
The Glens Falls Figure Skating Club offers figure skating lessons to members and non-members. The figure skating lessons are open to all ages and abilities. The categories are as follows:
Beginner/Snowplow Sam - ages 3 years to 5 years
Basic Skills – all ages, based on skill level
Advanced – all ages, based on skill level
The Glens Falls Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization, sanctioned by the United States Figure Skating Association, whose purpose is to promote the sport of skating to children and adults of all skill levels and ages.
The Glens Falls Civic Center is an arena hosting sports and entertainment activities year-round. Home to the United Hockey League's Adirondack Frostbite and the Adirondack Wildcats of the United States Basketball League, it hosts a variety of sports, theater, and family entertainment events.
