 The “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions will be performing at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Friday, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 26 at 10:00 a.m.
The “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions proudly present their 35-year anniversary of the “Dancing White Stallions.” For more than 425 years, Lipizzaner stallions have performed before kings and queens, presidents and prime ministers. These dancing white stallions are beautiful and amazing to watch. They are an equestrian work of art, an equine ballet not to be rivaled, with perfect timing set to classical music.
2005 also marks the 60-year anniversary of the rescue of the Lipizzaners in World War II by General Patton, Colonel Reed and the 42nd Squadron of the United States Army’s 2nd Cavalry unit, the true story depicted in Walt Disney’s motion picture, “The Miracle of the White Stallions.”
